A half-day course which runs 9am-1pm.

Course Content:

• Understand the importance of personal hygiene to prevent the spread of infection
• Know the people most at risk from infections
• Know the main ways that infection can enter the body
• Know the Correct procedure for hand washing
• Know Correct clothing for work
• Know The importance of PPE and when to use it
• Know how to handle soiled waste or linen and clinical waste
• Know what action to take if they are ill
