Privacy policy

This policy explains how Healthcare Academi Cymru (“we”, “us”) uses personal information when you visit this website or contact us about training. Last updated October 2026.

Who we are

Healthcare Academi Cymru, 1 Radnor Court, 256 Cowbridge Road East, Canton, Cardiff, CF5 1GZ. We are responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us about it at [email protected] or on 029 2025 8300 (option 4).

What we collect

  • Enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number and organisation if you give them, the course you’re interested in, number of learners, where and when you’d like training, and your message.
  • WhatsApp, phone and email: the details and messages you send us.

We don’t ask for your date of birth, home address or payment details at enquiry stage.

How we use it

Only to reply to you, answer your questions and arrange the training you ask about. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible booking, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We don’t sell your information or use it for marketing lists.

Where it’s kept and who sees it

Enquiries are saved in this website’s secure admin area and emailed to our training team. Only our staff can see them. We use trusted service providers to run the website and our email (our web hosting provider and Microsoft 365), who handle the information only on our instructions. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) also processes your messages under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to two years and then delete them. If you book training, we keep the records needed for your certificate and for accreditation bodies for as long as they require.

Cookies

The public pages of this website don’t set cookies and don’t use analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts are served from this website, not from third parties. The staff admin area uses a cookie only to keep staff signed in.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected] or write to us at the address above. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
