Course Duration: These sessions can be delivered individually as ½ day sessions or as a 3-day course.

Safeguarding/ MCA/ DoLs/ Dementia/ Behaviours that Challenge – Signs and symptoms of abuse, Recording and Reporting, Principles of MCA & DoLs, Types of dementia, Supporting Behaviours that Challenge.
Basic Life Support – Recovery Position, CPR, Choking, Anaphylaxis, roles, and responsibilities
Falls Awareness/ Communication and Record keeping/ Foot care – Falls risk factors, Impact of falls, Effective communication and Record Keeping, Understanding Foot Care, impact of poor foot care.
Medication/ Oral Health/ Pressure Sores – Understanding safe administration of medication, what is good Oral care, Understanding Pressure Sores.
